Real-time ADS-B map of business jets in European airspace. Callsign, altitude, speed — live from the OpenSky Network. No account required.
Over 800 private jet flights depart from German, Austrian and Swiss airports every day. Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg are the most active business aviation hubs. Most flights last under three hours — connecting city pairs that commercial airlines serve infrequently or not at all.
ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) is a standard by which aircraft automatically and continuously transmit their GPS position, altitude, speed and identifier. A worldwide network of ground receivers captures these signals and makes them publicly available via services such as the OpenSky Network. In Europe, ADS-B is mandatory for almost all aircraft above 5,700 kg.
In the US, owners can opt their aircraft out of public trackers via the LADD programme. In Europe this is harder, but billionaires such as Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos use various techniques — including changing the registration country or flying under alternate callsigns. This explains why Musk's G650ER often does not appear on FlightRadar24 or similar platforms.

Data comes from the OpenSky Network, a non-profit research project with over 3,000 receiver stations worldwide. It is the largest public ADS-B data network in the world. The API is free and requires no registration.
Positions update every 90 seconds. ADS-B signals themselves are sent by aircraft every second. The delay between the aircraft and the map is typically under 10 seconds.
Yes — if you know the callsign, enter it directly into FlightRadar24 or ADSB.exchange. This radar is designed for an overview of overall business aviation activity, not individual flight tracking.
Gold icons mark aircraft that meet typical private jet criteria (no known airline callsign, jet flight profile). Grey icons show scheduled flights or cargo. In "Business Jet Filter" mode, grey icons are hidden.
